The LUZIA EDEN photography course holiday in Cadiz, Spain

If you’ve had enough of the resorts and you’re looking for an idyllic holiday with blazing sun and salty sea, combined with photography, look no further. The Luzia course offers the perfect location, in a small historic city with amazing beaches, both in the actual town of Cadiz (La Caleta, Cortadura and Playa Santa Maria) and also in the Cadiz region. We have an amazing sparkling light here, and the sun shines more than 300 days a year. El Pais use the phrase Cadizfornia … to describe it!

The beaches here are varied, from caves and coves to totally flat golden sand and dunes.

It’s not just beaches though! We integrate plenty of other activities and we shoot along the way. This holiday goes quite easy on the photography, but we give you instruction on how to take the best pictures possible with your camera, whether it’s an iPhone or a digital SLR. Taking pictures is part of the fun, and we encourage lots of playfulness in the shooting, so that the resulting images are more creative than the usual holiday snaps.

On this course we keep the Photoshop part to a minimum, so you can enjoy the sun as much as you can handle.

We  offer activities such as a Camera Obscura visit, beach volleyball, kite flying, walks, swimming and Pilates on the beach…

This will not only keep you active and fit, but also provide subjects to shoot. We monitor the tides, the sun and the wind, and adapt the activities and the beaches we visit to make it the most optimal experience.

We have some local faces lined up for portraits. Local knowledge is our strength, and we want you to enjoy every minute, without worrying about the logistics. Therefore the days in our itinerary may be staggered in a different order, so that we get the best out of every single day.
